The paths along the irrigation channels in Merano

The paths along the irrigation channels in Merano extend to the Val d'Adige foothills and embrace the Merano basin. Here, hikers can relax while exploring the regions landscape in full or in stages along an 80 km path.

The tracks are passable year round and join eleven paths along the irrigation channels in the Merano area – the Lagundo, Caines, Rifiano, Maia, Scena, Brandis in Lana, Cermes, Marlengo, Percines, Rablà and Wallburg paths. Along these paths, visitors will discover the irrigation channels as well as huts, castles, churches and other natural wonders.

The paths along the irrigation channels in Merano can be completed in several stages over a 7 or 8 day period, however walks can also be done as part of a day tour.
